6ix9ine could be out of jail as early as January 2020 after Prosecutors recommended no prison time in exchange for his cooperation. Tekashi 69 was facing a minimum of 47 years after being charged with 9 federal counts of racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses and narcotics trafficking.
However, according to his plea deal that has been made public, prosecutors have agreed “not to prosecute the defendant for the crimes set forth in Counts One through Nine…. as well as additional crimes that the defendant has told the government about.”
If the rapper fully cooperates, he may also be eligible for witness protection as mentioned in the plea deal “It is understood that the defendant’s cooperation is
likely to reveal the activities of individuals and that witness
protection may be required at a later date.”
6ix9ine is set to be sentenced January 24th, 2020 and his fate lands in the hand of a federal judge.
